Built as pure client-side + local storage: no backend, no database, no server uploads of your records.

    Whether installed from the Chrome Web Store or locally, records are written to browser local storage allocated for this extension in your Chrome profile — not sent to the developer’s servers and not mixed with ordinary web page data.

  • No cloud, no account

    No sign-up required. Screenshots and Excel files are parsed inside the extension — never uploaded.

  • Minimal permissions

    Only storage and side panel access — no browsing history, tab content, or clipboard. Store and local builds use the same permission model.

Install

Install from the Chrome Web Store

Requires Chrome 114+ (side panel support). No account needed — install and start tracking.

    Open the Chrome Web Store

    Visit chrome.google.com/webstore, or open the browser menu → Extensions → Visit Chrome Web Store.

    Search and add the extension

    Search for PortfolioPulse, open the listing, click Add to Chrome, and confirm in the dialog.

    Open the side panel

    Click the toolbar icon (pin it from the extensions menu if needed). The tracker opens in the right side panel; drag to resize width.

First launch with no data guides you to entry. Export Excel backups anytime and migrate manually when switching devices.
